EECM

East End Cooperative Ministry works to make life better and the future brighter for hundreds every day, with a soup kitchen, a safe overnight men’s shelter, a transition program and housing for men working toward independent living, a food pantry, meals-on-wheels plus mentoring the youth of the east end.

With the uncertain economic climate, East End Cooperative Ministry is seeing an increased volume of individuals and families in need of food, shelter and hope. East End Cooperative Ministry has been serving the hungry, homeless, elderly and youth of Pittsburgh’s east end since 1970. EECM is now made up of more than 40 faith-based congregations with this mission: united in faith and dedicated to service.

For more information about the East End Cooperative Ministry, call Myrna Zelenitz at (412) 361-5549 or visit http://www.eecm.org.
