Paul joined the KDKA news team in December 2006. He’s a native of Great Falls, Montana, graduated from Great Falls High School in 1978. Paul’s college endeavors had nothing to do with journalism as he thought he would enter the ministry, studying at seminaries in Kentucky and New Orleans. His journalism career includes stints at WWL New Orleans, WOKV Jacksonville, and WQIK Jacksonville. Paul is the winner of multiple awards including AP Best Newscasts in Louisiana and Florida, as well as New Orleans Press Club Best Newscast. Paul and Rose Ryan-Douglas have won the Pittsburgh AIR award for best newscaster in 2007 and 2008. He lives in Pittsburgh with his Longhaired Dachshund, Poncho
