    Duquesne Light Company
I want to thank John Shumway for being the ONLY broadcaster who seemed to give due respect to the crews that have been working around the clock to restore power to the 90,000 people of Pittsburgh. Yes, it has been frustrating but being a spouse of a Duquesne Light employee, and not having power but watching him work 16 hour shifts (which are really 18 hours) and barely getting 5 hours of sleep per DAY since Thursday, I truly appreciate your understanding tone and compassion when you were speaking with Joe this a.m.. I think that if some of the images showed the damage to the poles and lines that these guys faced and how they go about trying to get it back to normal while keeping safe working at 3:00 a.m. - people might be a little less critical towards the crews that have pushed themselves beyond the limit to get things back to normal. Thank you John - I will not listen to another morning show from this day forward because you get it.

    08/22/2007 8:32AM
    bridges
I think the tunnel is a waste of money. Help the people of pgh. that really need and quit spending money foolishly. The people of Pittsburgh need help desperately. Put the money where it is needed!!!!!!

    Bridges
We should worry about our bridges now and not later! Our city has renovated everything but the bridges. Put the time and effort to look over the bridges thoroughly!!!! Don't wait till later!!!!!

    Wal-mart expansion
I think Wal-mart should not build on 65. The sliding problem is always going to be a problem. That is a partial cemetery on the location. Let them rest in peace. There are other locations they can consider to build on and not one with so many problems!!!!!

your interview with Aimee Kaczmarek, Seneca Valley
Thank you for interviewing one of the teachers from Seneca Valley. Good for you, Larry and John! I appreciate fair questions and time to answer...as opposed to dialogue which is one sided and interviews that are attacking. You are always a class act...thank you again!
